Mr. Surinder Singh Sohal
Founder
Surinder Singh, the visionary founder of Metal Weld India, began his journey in the village of Ghudani, Ludhiana. Starting his career as a mechanic fitter, he built strong technical expertise that laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial dream.
On March 24, 1986, he established Metal Weld India, naming it after his hometown. Through innovative welding automation, he transformed scaffolding manufacturing and set new industry standards. The introduction of automated scaffolding systems in 1996 further strengthened the company’s reputation for quality and innovation.
After Surinder Singh’s passing in 2019, his sons, Hardeep Singh and Deepal Singh, carried forward his legacy—expanding domestically and globally. Today, Metal Weld India operates in 54 countries, standing as a global leader in the scaffolding industry.

Hardeep Singh is the CEO of Metal Weld India, taking over the reins from his father, the founder of the company. Having been closely involved in the business from a young age, he has developed a deep understanding of the industry and the legacy his father built. His leadership marks a new chapter for Metal Weld India—one that honors the company’s strong foundation while embracing innovation and modernization.
With a clear vision for the future, Hardeep Singh is focused on expanding the company’s reach, upgrading technologies, and strengthening its position as a trusted name in metal welding across India and international markets.
