CONTINUOUS CONVEYOR TYPE DIP PAINTING PLANT

This is a specially designed Painting Plant for Scaffolding Systems. In this system you can choose a loading point anywhere in your factory area as per your convenience, means exactly after the welding area you can plan your loading point.

To work on this entire system, you just need 2 people i.e., 1 at the loading point and 1 at the unloading point. This system is a complete maintenance free system where the material is hung on the hooks of the overhead conveyor.

  1. First the conveyor takes the hung material and passes through the paint tank of 7.5 meters. Long dipping the material in.
  2. After the paint tank, it passes through the dripping tray where the excess paint is collected and poured back in the painting.
  3. Then it passes through a gas fired oven (i.e., heating zone & cooling zone) and then to the unloading.

Based on the data supplied above, the conveyor speed comes out to be 1.3 meters per minute. The jobs will be hung at 300mm distance. The plant will consist of a conveyor, dipping tank, and baking oven. The details are as follows:

Paint Dipping Tank:

The dipping tank will be a boat shaped tank with 1000mm bottom and 7600 as top. The width will be 400 mm. The tank will be made from a 3 mm thick sheet and angle channel supporting structure. There will be a 3 Hp SS pump for paint circulation.

Conveyor:

The conveyor will be 4 tracks 4-wheel trolley conveyors. The scope of supply includes track & chain of 150 pitch having 300 as hanger pitch, drive unit   of required speed, clevis brackets, tension unit, and automatic lubricator. The conveyor supports will be ground based lamp post. About 105 meters of conveyor will be required. The design speed is 1.3 mts per min. We will also supply the jig fixtures for job hanging.

Central Control Panel:

The central control panel consisting of normal safety devices such as fuses / MCBs, motor starters, two temperature controllers, variable frequency drive & required indicating lamps etc. all enclosed in a nice powder coated panel box.
